CS2 Skin Options Trading:
RFQ Calls & Puts

CSfi.exchange is a controlled beta for RFQ-based CS2 skin options. You can buy firm, time-bound call or put quotes, or deposit eligible skins to write covered calls in our public beta. No public order book.

Before you start

Options can expire worthless, quotes can disappear, skin prices can move quickly, and option writers may have delivery or settlement obligations while custody locks are active. Review the risk disclosure and fees before connecting a wallet or linking Steam.

Worked examples

Illustrative numbers show how premium, strike, expiry, exercise, custody, and settlement fit together. Actual quotes, fees, eligibility, and expiries vary during beta.

Buyer path

Buying a call or put

A buyer pays a USDC premium for a 30-day call or put option with a specified strike on an eligible CS2 skin. If a call is in the money before expiry, the buyer can exercise for custody-backed skin delivery; put settlement follows supported quote terms. If the option expires out of the money, the buyer loses only the premium and transaction fees.

Inventory path (Beta)

Writing a covered call

A covered call writer deposits an eligible skin into custody, quotes a 30-day call option, and receives a premium if accepted. If the option expires unexercised, the writer keeps the premium and can withdraw their skin. If exercised, custody delivers the skin and routes strike settlement to the writer.

What you need, and why

We surface constraints up front so onboarding does not feel arbitrary.

Why a wallet?

Your wallet is your identity and the rail for premium settlement. We use it to attribute quotes, positions, and deliveries — never to custody assets without consent.

Why link Steam?

Steam linking lets us see eligible inventory and route quote-specific settlement when needed. Linking is read-only until you explicitly initiate a custody deposit.

Why custody?

Covered call writing requires the underlying skin to be held by CSfi custody so we can guarantee delivery or settlement if the option is exercised. You can withdraw any time the asset is unencumbered.

Why RFQ, not order book?

CS2 skins are illiquid and heterogeneous. We surface firm, time-bound quotes from a small set of beta makers instead of pretending depth that doesn't exist.

FAQ

Questions before connecting

Start with the basics, then review custody, fee, risk, and privacy details before entering the app.

What is CSfi.exchange?

CSfi.exchange is a controlled beta for RFQ-based options on eligible CS2 skins, supporting calls and puts with custody-backed settlement.

Is there a public order book?

No. CSfi uses firm, time-bound RFQ quotes from beta makers instead of displaying public order-book depth.

Why is custody required?

Covered options require the underlying skin or collateral to be held in custody so settlement can be guaranteed if the option is exercised.

How does option settlement work?

Settlement terms are quote-specific. Options are custody-backed, resulting in either physical skin delivery or cash settlement in USDC.

Can options expire worthless?

Yes. Option buyers can lose the premium and fees paid if the option (call or put) expires out of the money or is not exercised.

What does Steam linking do?

Steam linking helps map eligible inventory and support quote-specific settlement workflows. It does not grant custody unless you explicitly start a deposit flow.
